The 2015-16 hockey season is inexorably approaching. But we are still mired in the dog days of summer.
This off season we welcomed back Steve Rusyn who photographed games for us a few years back. We are pleased to see him return and we look forward to seeing his work on our pages again.
In the meantime, we asked Steve for some of his images from this past season and get us all thinking of the cooling ice and the intense action that is to come.
We asked Steve to say a little about himself.
Hi my name is Steve Rusyn. I started my interest in photography when I worked on the police force. During that time I also was a season ticket holder of the Hershey Bears and would take pictures of their games. As time went on I got more interested in hockey games and enjoyed taking pictures of all the action. I signed up with a web site called “Inside Hockey” and took picture of the Hershey Bear games and other AHL Hockey Team games. The pictures were then posted on the Inside Hockey web site. I like the action of the game and most of the pictures I take capture the hockey games action.
