SAN JOSE, Calif. – In their inaugural season, the San Jose Barracuda clinched the final seat in the Western Conference Playoffs in their last game of the season, with the 6-0 victory over the Stockton Heat.
There were 7,664 fans in attendance at the SAP Center, as San Jose’s Aaron Dell earned his fourth shut-out of the season, with 41 saves. Barclay Goodrow, and Jeremy Langlois each scored in the first period. Trevor Parkes and Nikolay Goldobin scored in the second and Jeremy Morin, and Alex Gallant added the final two goals in the third period.
San Jose finished the season with 31-26-8-3 and 71 points (.530).
Stockton’s Nick Schneider was the losing goalie with 24 saves for the night.

San Jose will face Ontario Reign in game one of the best-of-five Pacific Division Semifinals on Friday, April 22 at 7:30 pm Pacific Time. The Reign earned first seat in the Pacific Division with 48-23-3-2 (101 points).
