BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Bakersfield Condors (36-20-5-5) shut out the Stockton Heat (44-15-5-2) at Mechanics Bank Arena with a final score of 4-0.
Stockton’s net minder Adam Werner made a season-best 35 saves, but the Heat’s offensive line could not score against Stuart Skinner in the Condor net. Skinner faced only 22 shots on goal for the game.

Philip Broberg and Brad Malone scored for the Condors in the first period. Tyler Benson scored in the second period.
In the third period, Werner was pulled in favor of a sixth skater for the Heat and James Hamblin put the puck in the net to give the Condors the 4-0 final.
Despite the Heat loss, they clinched the Pacific Division Championship by virtue of the Ontario Reign loss to the Colorado Eagles earlier today.
The Heat are 6-2-1 against the Condors with one more game remaining between the two teams later in the month. The Heat head to San Diego then back to Bakersfield to finish up the regular season.
