Boone Jenner had a single marker for the Jackets.

“If you go back and look at all the goals we gave up, I don’t like any of them. They were all preventable,” Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar said.

Cole Sillinger potted two goals as well for Columbus.

“Sometimes you go into the third period down 2-0, you feel like you can’t score,” Bean said. “Just getting one, you know you can get two. Just having that belief instilled in the guys we took advantage of it.”

Logan O’Connor  also scored for Colorado, his goal gave the Avs an early 1-0 lead.
