MELBOURNE – At the end of the regular season for the Australia Women’s Ice Hockey League, Melbourne Ice are the Minor premiers for the 2015 -2016 season.
With only four teams in the league, the finals will be played over two days with the following format. 
Saturday 6th Feb 2016
Final 1 – Melbourne Ice V Brisbane Goanna’s – winner to GF and Looser to Semi final
Final 2 – Sydney Sirens V Adelaide Adrenalin – Winner to Semi Final and Looser to the Bronze medal game
Sunday 7th Feb 2016
Semi Final played at 08am in the morning, will be played against the looser of final one which will be with the minor premiers Melbourne Ice or bottom of the ladder Brisbane Goannas against the Winner of Final 2 which is either Sydney Sirens or Adelaide Adrenalin. The winner will go to the Grand Final and the looser will go to the Bronze medal game.
Bronze medal game, is played about 4pm in the afternoon and it is played just before the Grand Final (Gold Medal Game).
Grand Final (Gold Medal Game) is played after the bronze medal game which could be played by any of the 4 teams it could be with the Minor Premiers Melbourne Ice or placed at the bottom of the ladder Brisbane Goannas.
The Grand Final will be played against the team that can back it up like the Melbourne Ice or Brisbane Gonnas and play 2 games or is it a team that is going to take the long road and play 3 games.
