Mason Appleton is out 8-12 weeks for the Winnipeg Jets.
The forward had surgery for an injury sustained in a 3-2 overtime win at the Seattle Kraken on Nov. 13. He left in the second period after his stick got lodged in the glass upon getting hit.
Appleton has six points (one goal, five assists) in 14 games.
