Announced trades at NHL Entry Draft

LOS ANGELES, Ca – With the NHL 2010 Entry Draft complete the league released the list of trades made during the draft.   The following were just part of what can only be characterized as a crazy NHL Entry Draft.
 
Philadelphia traded D Dan Hamhuis to Pittsburgh for Pittsburgh’s 3rd-round pick in the 2011 Entry Draft.
 
Carolina traded Washington’s 7th-round pick in the 2010 Entry Draft (previously acquired, 206th overall) to Philadelphia for C Jonathan Matsumoto.
 
Calgary traded its 6th-round pick in the 2010 Entry Draft (163rd overall) to San Jose for G Henrik Karlsson.
 
Chicago traded Calgary’s 2nd-round pick in the 2010 Entry Draft (previously acquired, 43rd overall) to Toronto for RW Jimmy Hayes.
 
Carolina traded Ottawa’s 2nd-round pick in the 2010 Entry Draft (previously acquired, 46th overall) to Edmonton for C Riley Nash.
 
Colorado traded its 2nd-round pick in the 2010 Entry Draft (47th overall) to Los Angeles for Los Angeles’ 2nd- and 4th-round picks in 2010 (49th and 109th overall).
 
Florida traded Philadelphia’s 2nd-round pick in the 2010 Entry Draft (previously acquired, 59th overall) to Minnesota for Minnesota’s 3rd-round and 4th-round picks in 2010 (69th and 99th overall).
 
Dallas traded its 3rd-round pick in the 2010 Entry Draft (71st overall) to Colorado for Colorado’s 3rd-round pick in 2010 (77th overall) and Los Angeles’ 4th-round pick in 2010 (previously acquired, 109th overall).
 
Los Angeles traded its 3rd-round pick in the 2010 Entry Draft (79th
overall) to Toronto for Toronto’s 3rd-round pick in 2012.
 
Carolina traded Washington’s 2nd-round pick in the 2011 Entry Draft (previously acquired) and Carolina’s 6th-round pick in 2010 to NY Rangers for D Bobby Sanguinetti.
 
NY Islanders traded their 4th-round pick in the 2010 Entry Draft (95th
overall) to Colorado for Colorado’s 3rd-round pick in 2011.
 
Toronto traded Phoenix’s 4th-round pick in the 2010 Entry Draft (previously acquired, 112th overall) to Washington for Washington’s 4th- and 5th-round picks in 2010 (116th and 146th overall).
 
Toronto traded its 5th-round pick in the 2010 Entry Draft (122nd overall) to Anaheim for RW Mike Brown.
 
NY Islanders traded their 6th-round pick in the 2010 Entry Draft (155th
overall) and NY Rangers’ 6th-round pick in 2010 (previously acquired, 160th
overall) to Atlanta for Atlanta’s 5th-round pick in 2011.
 
Atlanta traded its 6th-round pick in the 2010 Entry Draft (158th overall) to Los Angeles for Los Angeles’ 6th- and 7th-round picks in 2010 (169th and 199th overall).
 
Toronto traded Phoenix’s 7th-round pick in the 2010 Entry Draft (previously acquired, 202nd overall) to Edmonton for Edmonton’s 6th-round pick in 2011.
 
Chicago traded its 7th-round pick in the 2010 Entry Draft (210th overall) to Boston for Boston’s 7th-round pick in 2011.
 
Pittsburgh traded its 7th-round pick in the 2010 Entry Draft (200th
overall) to San Jose for San Jose’s 7th-round pick in 2011.
