ANNAPOLIS, Md: It was the Annapolis Fire Department taking an 8-5 victory over the Annapolis Police Department at the Take It To The Street Block Party. The event was hosted by the Annapolis Professional Firefighters, the Washington Capitals Street Caps and the Annapolis Chiefs ice hockey team. 
The Washington Capitals Street Caps is a community outreach team that travels parts of the DMV area attempting to grow the game of hockey, made up of employees of the Caps who have experience coaching and playing hockey.
The event was held at the Susan Campbell Park on Dock Street in historic Annapolis, Maryland. The event included a street hockey court set up by the Washington Capitals Street Caps, allowing children of all ages to grab a stick and ball and play some street hockey, before the main event between the Fire Department and the Police Department. Music was provided by local group Hollow Truths.
The fire department, police department, Annapolis Chiefs,as well as the United States Naval Academy D2 hockey teams had booths set up with merchandise, games and raffles.
