TULSA, Okla. – The Allen Americans won their fourth straight game, beating the Tulsa Oilers by a score of 3-2 on Friday night, in front of a small crowd at the BOK Center.
Eric Roy had the game winner for Allen late in the third period. The goal came less than a minute after Tulsa had tied the score at 2-2. Roy has scored in four straight games for the Americans and now has five goals on the season.
“Roy’s goal was big,” said Americans forward J.P Lafontaine, who assisted on Roy’s game winning  goal. “After blowing a 2-0 lead, to get it right back was huge.
Ian Schultz and Vincent Arseneau both made their return to the lineup on Friday night for Allen. Arseneau assisted on the Americans first goal, scored by David Makowski.
The Americans took two of the three stars  on Friday night, with Casey Pierro-Zabotel earning the number three star, while Eric Roy was voted number one. The 3 Stars of the Game are brought to you by Warp 9 Computers.
The Allen Americans return home on Saturday night against the Colorado Eagles at 7:05 pm.
