Dallas/Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, won their fourth game in a row and fourth straight series taking the first two games against the Tulsa Oilers that included a 5-3 victory on Friday night.
Danny Katic led the way for the Americans, scoring a natural hat trick, his sixth, seventh and eighth goals of the season.
Harrison Blaisdell (8) and Brayden Watts (10) had the other two goals for the Americans. The team battled back twice to tie the game before Katic gave Allen the lead for good.
Marco Costantini made the start again in net for Allen and won his sixth straight game. Costantini stopped 36 of 39 Tulsa shots to win his ninth game of the season, improving t0 9-4-3.
Both teams cashed in on the power play. Harrison Blaisdell for the Americans, and Easton Armstrong for Tulsa.
The same two teams clash on Saturday night in Oklahoma. Game time is at 7:05 PM. The Americans close the week on Sunday afternoon in Kansas City.
