Admirals sink Rampage, 6-3

SAN ANTONIO  – The San Antonio Rampage (16-17-7-0) received goals from Max Noreau, Michael Schumacher and Colin Smith, but fell to the Milwaukee Admirals (25-13-2-0) 6-3 in front of a season-high 8,379 at the AT&T Center on Saturday night. Reid Petryk finished with two assists on the night and now has nine points through his last six contests.

Milwaukee started the scoring quickly, getting a goal from Matt White just 1:51 into the game to take a 1-0 lead. San Antonio trailed 4-0 after the first 20 minutes of play, as the Admirals outshot the Rampage 12-8 and got two goals from Pontus Aberg and one from Vladislav Kamenev. Aberg completed a hat trick in the third period, scoring his third goal of the game at 6:33 to give the Ads a 6-1 lead. Petryk’s cross-ice pass found the stick of Schumacher in the slot, giving the Rampage their second marker near the midway point of the period.
