Springfield, VA: The St. James of Springfield, VA played host to the ACCHL Fall Showcase the weekend of November 4-6, 2022. Twenty-two teams participated in the 3-day event, with eleven games scheduled for each day. The following is a summary of games 1-5, day one, with an emphasis on the images from the games.
The opening game of the Showcase saw Maryland fall to Tampa 9-1. It would be Maryland’s only loss of the weekend. In the second game, JMU would defeat Richmond by the same 9-1 score of the first game. GWU would take game 3 over UVA by a score of 5-3. Rowan would get their first victory of the weekend, defeating UNC-Wilmington, 5-2. Game 5 saw Georgetown fall to ECU 4-2.
