QUEBEC CITY, P.Q. — After losing first game in series Acadie-Bathurst had a perfect record and still maintain their perfect record intact as the played much better game on Saturday night winning 4-0 tying the QMJHL President Cup final one game all. Antoine Morand has been the best offensively on Titans side ending the game with two goals.
Playing much better hockey than game one the night before Acadie-Bathurst got two chances with a man up without been able to get the puck pass Blainville-Boisbriand goaltender Emile Samson. Best scoring opportunity by the visitor came from the stick of
German Rubtsov.
Ending the first period with four shots on goal Titans goaltender Evan Fitzpatrick made all saves preventing the Armada to get on board first like Friday night.
Blainville-Boisbriand dominated 16-6 in shots on goals hitting three goalpost in first two periods but Acadie-Bathurst scored the only goal in the second periods. Titans defenseman Noah Dobson took advantage of circulation in front of Armada netminder seeing his shot from the blue line beating Samson between his pads 3:32 into the second frame.
Blainville-Boisbriand got chance in second playing on power play. Armada center Alexandre Alain who recently signed with Montreal Canadiens is one of the best scorer when his team played with a man up scoring seven goals of the 22 the team scored in the playoff, but again Titans team covered him very well as he was silenced on Blainville-Boisbriand only chance they got.
Drake Batherson got one of Armada best scoring chance as he was alone with Titans goalie Evan Fitzpatrick but the Ottawa prospect missed the net.
In third periods Acadie Bathurst adds three more goals, Antoine Morand surprised Armada netminder with a wrist shot from the slot beating Samson on his stick side 1:48 into the period.
Morand came back with what could be considered the back breaking goal scoring his second of the night this time in an empty net at 17:12. Former Quebec Remparts left winger Ethan Crossman scored Titans fourth goals beating Armada netminder between his pads at 10:36.
