A look back at the history of Saturday’s EIHL games

It’s a full schedule of games across Saturday – here’s what the history books tell us from past meetings:

There have been 37 Challenge Cup meetings between Belfast Giants and Glasgow Clan, with the Giants winning 25 of them. On average, they outscore the Clan by a single goal per game.

Cardiff Devils have won almost two-thirds of their home league games against Nottingham Panthers. The Devils boast 46 wins from 71 meetings, while the Panthers have 25 victories.

Dundee Stars’ home record against Manchester Storm is excellent. Across 28 league meetings in Dundee, the Stars have 19 wins compared to Storm’s nine.

Fife Flyers and Coventry Blaze have faced each other 33 times in the league in Kirkcaldy, with the Blaze holding a narrow advantage – 17 wins to the Flyers’ 16.

At the Utilita Arena, Sheffield Steelers have 14 wins from 20 games against Guildford Flames. The Flames have six victories in Sheffield since joining the Elite League.
