CHELMSFORD, UK – The Chelmsford Warriors are proud to announce a large sponsorship deal with ice hockey news website Pro Hockey News. Pro Hockey News will be sponsoring every one of the Warriors players in the upcoming season and have their logo emblazoned on the team shirts.
Negotiations have been going on for some weeks, but now a deal has been struck and the Warriors are delighted to have them on board.
A Warriors spokesperson said “We’re delighted to have a big name sponsor like this supporting the Warriors. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to get sponsorship in place for Warriors and this is the first of what we hope will be a series of announcements of support for the Warriors and their charge for the title in the English National League 2”.
The spokesperson went on to say “It’s not the end of companies and individuals getting involved with supporting the Warriors and Chieftains. We are always grateful for new sponsors getting behind the teams and always welcome new inquires”.
“Pro Hockey News is committed to supporting the sport of ice hockey throughout the world. Our publication has seen remarkable growth in the United Kingdom. That growth is a reflection of the passion and dedication of the hockey fans in the UK. Because of that passion we believe our sponsorship of the Warriors hockey club is a natural fit,” said Lou Lafrado, publisher of Pro Hockey News.
The deal marks the first time Pro Hockey News has sponsored an English league side.
“This is an exciting opportunity for us at Pro Hockey News. We wish the Warriors club great success this season and look forward to our partnership this season,” said Linda Morgan Davis, senior sales executive for Pro Hockey News.
