Tornado looking to get ready for series against Amarillo

FRISCO, Texas – Wednesday the Tornado looked to hone their skills sets on the ice.  The Tornado practiced shooting drills, keep away, powerplay, wrap-arounds, transition control, passing control, breakaways, two on two drills, and one on one drills to get ready for their back-to-back games with the South Division leading Amarillo Bulls.  The Bulls will be looking to reverse course after a a 3-2 loss against the Wichita Falls Wildcats.
 
The Tornado are dealing with a few injuries as Justin Greenberg is coming back from an ankle injury and John Kirkland is coming back from foot injury.

With a good practice under their garters, the Tornado now will hit the ice for those games against the Bulls.   Amarillo has been a strong franchise in the NAHL since moving from the CHL.   The matches will be good tests of the Tornado’s resilience.
