Thunder can’t hang on in Shootout with Utah PHN's Best Shots of the Game

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Thunder fell in a shootout Saturday night at Stockton Arena to the Utah Grizzlies by the final score of 3-2.  There were goals in the first period from Ryan Hayes and Utah’s David Vallorani on a power play.  Corey Trivino scored a power play in the second to give the Thunder the 2-1 lead.

The third period Danick Paquette scored the tying goal forcing sudden death overtime, in which neither team could find the net.

There were 54 penalty minutes assessed during a game that lead to several scrums and a fight between Paquette and Alex MacLeod  and Ben Rosen and Joseph Cramarossa late in the first.

But in the end, Igor Bobkov only allowed a single goal by James Henry earning the shootout win.  Jamie MacQueen, Vallorani and Phil Mangan all scored against Parker Milner.

Milner had 25 saves in the game,k while Bobkov had 19 for the win.
