Steelheads shutout Stockton in 4-0 win

BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Steelheads remain undefeated in the post season after decimating the Stockton Thunder in game two of the National Conference Finals, 4-0. Richard Bachman was stellar in the net as he stopped anything and everything that Stockton could throw at him.  While Andrew Perugini was given a second successive start for the Thunder had 31 saves on the night.

Shorthanded goals in the first by Brandon Kushniruk and Matt McKnight put the Steelheads up 2-0.

Evan Barlow scored a solo goal in the second, while Marty Flichel put the icing on the cake early in the third period.  The Steelheads won with a final score of 4-0.

Idaho leads the series 2-0, and both teams will travel to Stockton, for game three, four and, if necessary, five.  Game three is Wednesday evening at the Stockton Arena.
