LOVELAND, Colo. – The Las Vegas Wranglers fell 3-1 to the Colorado Eagles tonight, dropping a one-goal lead to the top power play squad in the ECHL.

Wranglers goaltender Joe Fallon and Eagles goaltender Adam Brown held the first period scoreless as Colorado outshot Las Vegas 5-3. The first goal of the night came off the stick of Wranglers center Carlo Finucci midway through the second, giving the team a 1-0 lead.

The Eagles capitalized on power play opportunities minutes after Finucci’s goal, scoring back-to-back goals from defenseman Collin Bowman and forward Dylan Hood to take their first lead of the night and bolster their status as the top power play team in the league. Bowman then tacked on a second goal in the final eight minutes of the game to secure the Eagles a 3-1 victory in the first of a three-game series.
