Reign shut out Wranglers
LAS VEGAS – The Ontario Reign shut the Las Vegas Wranglers out 4-0 Saturday evening, completing the two-game weekend sweep of the team after winning 5-3 Friday night. The Reign took an early 1-0 lead over the Wranglers after left wing Colton Yellow Horn scored just 66 seconds into the game. Las Vegas had a chance to tie the game with a power play in the last three minutes of the period, but the team was unable to convert, narrowly being outshot 9-8 by Ontario. The second period was held scoreless by Wranglers goaltender Mitch O’Keefe and Reign goaltender Chris Carozzi, who appeared in net for the Reign theprevious night as well. The Wranglers brought a 11-9 advantage into the third, but a final Ontario goal from defenseman Brock Sheahan secured the 4-0 shutout win for the Reign.
