QUEBEC CITY P.Q. — The Quebec Remparts scored three goals in the second and third periods for a 7-3 over Bathurst to take a 3-1 series lead thanks to a five point performances (2g-3a) by Jonathan-Audy Marshessault.
Leading 4-3 after forty Minutes of play, Marshessault had the Remparts fifth and sixth goals in the game killing any chance Bathurst had to come back in the game. Marc-Olivier Vallerand (1g-1a) scored what would become the game winning goal with 3:54 to play before the siren announced the end of second period.
Both teams will face each other Friday in Quebec with the big chance for the Remparts to eliminate the Titan in five games.

Moncton Wildcats vs. Cape Breton Screaming Eagles The Wildcats had a chance to eliminate the Screaming Eagles in front of their fans on Wednesday night but thanks to a great game by Cape Breton they avoided elimination winning Game Four 4-1.
Veteran center Luke Adam ended the game scoring three of Cape Breton four goals, all with the man advantage. Taylor MacDougall had the Screaming Eagles other goal, also with the man advantage. Stephen Horyl (0-3), defenseman Francis Meilleur (0-2) right winger Jacob Lagace (0-2) also had solid contributions to force Game Five back in Moncton.
Moncton only goal came off the stick of center Alex Saulmier.
Goaltenders: Moncton Nicolas Riopel and, Shane Owen.
Power plays: Moncton: 1-11 Cape Breton: 4-5.
Three stars selections: All three stars went to Cape Breton players: Luke Adam, Jacob Lagace, and Stephen Horyl. Moncton leads the series 3-1.
Saint John Sea Dogs vs. Prince Edward Island Rocket
Leading 1-0 until the third period, the Rocket believed that almost had their second win in the series, but with 17:41 gone in the third period, Moncton’s Nicholas Petersen scored the Wildcats first goal in the game to even things up at one. In overtime, Tomas Jurco beat PEI goaltender Even Mosher to give the Wildcats a 2-1 victory. Moncton now leads the series 3-1 with a chance to eliminate PEI in Saint John.
Goaltenders: Saint John: Marco Cousineau 23 shots 21 saves, PEI: Evan Mosher 30 shots 28 saves.
Power plays: Saint John: 0-4 PEI: 1-5.

Montreal Junior vs. Gatineau Olympiques
Defenseman David Stitch’s two goals Wednesday night helped the Montreal Junior defeat Gatineau 4-2 to also take a 3-1 leads in their series. Trevor Parkes and Matthew Brenton had the rest of the Junior’s on the night.
Drummondville Voltigeurs vs. Lewiston MAINEiacs
The MAINEiacs became the first team to be ousted from the 2009-10 QMJHL playoffs losing 5-2 against the Voltigeurs. Five different players scored for Drummondville. It was the teams toughest victory despite the score. Sean Couturier, Ondrej Palat, Gabriel Dumont, Charles Landry and Remi Blanchard all scored s for Drummondville.
Oskar Orrpars and Billy Lacasse would become the last players to score goals for Lewiston this season.
Goaltenders: Drummondville’s Jake Allen (24 shots 22 saves) and Lewiston’s Adrien Lemay (48 shots 43 saves).
Power plays: Drummondville 3-8 Lewiston 1-8.

Victoriaville Tigres vs. Shawinigan Cataractes
Center Joel Champagne (1g-1a), defenseman Samuel Groulx (1g-1a) and right winger Guillaume Goulet (0-2a) played important roles in Victoriaville’s 4-1 win over Shawinigan.
Goaltenders: Victoriaville’s Kevin Poulin (28 shots 27 saves) and Shawinigan’s Gabriel Girard (27 shots 23 saves).
Power plays: Victoriaville 1-7, Shawinigan 0-7.
Three stars selections: Victoriaville defenseman Samuel Groulx, Shawinigan forward Michael Bournival and Victoriaville goaltender Kevin Poulin.
The series is now tied 2-2 with the next game back in Victoriaville.
Rimouski Oceanic vs. Chicoutimi Sagueneens
With a two goal performance on Wednesday night, Petr Straka led Rimouski to a 4-2 win over Chicoutimi. Alex Emond and Gleason Fournier also had goals for Rimouski.
Alexandre Roy and Michael Belanger replied for Chicoutimi.
Goaltenders: Rimouski’s Matthew Dopud (24 shots 22 saves) and Chicoutimi’s Robin Gusse (28 shots 24 saves).
Power plays: Rimouski 1-4 Chicoutimi 0-4.
Three stars selections: Straka, Rimouski’s Casey Babineau and Chicoutimi’s Robin Gusse.
Rimouski leads the series 3-1.
Rouyn-Noranda Huskies vs. Val-d’Or Foreurs
Maxime Sauve (2-1) and Alexandre Quesnel (0-2) led the Foreurs to a 4-3 win over the Huskies in Game Four the best-of-seven playoff series.
Leading 2-1 after first forty minutes, Val-d’Or struck with two goals to begin the third period to take a commanding three goal lead 4-1. Rouyn-Noranda’s attempts to tie the game came up short scoring only two goals by Steven Delisle and Christophe Losier with a little more than six minutes remaining to play in the third.
Goaltenders: Rouyn-Noranda’s Nicholas Champion (26 shots 22 saves) and Val-d’Or’s Raffaele’ D’Orso (32 shots 29 saves)
Power plays: Rouyn-Noranda 0-4 Val-d’Or 1-3.
