BOLZANO, ITALY – ProHockeyNews are proud to bring you live updates from all Sheffield Steelers games in the Continental Cup from Bolzano this weekend. Regular readers of the site will be aware of one of our newest columnists, “Big Dave”, is in Bolzano for the European-wide Continental Cup starting this afternoon. The Steelers will be up against the following sides: Bolzano Foxes (ITA), HDK Maribor (SLO), HYS The Hague (NED, Qualifier). On paper it should be possible that the Steelers will get through the group into the next round, however as regular followers of the Elite League will be aware, things have not gone to plan for the Steelers in recent weeks and they find themselves struggling towards the foot of the table. The schedule of games are as follows (All times GMT): 
November 27th 15:30 – The Hague V Sheffield Steelers November 27th 19:00 – Bolzano V Maribor November 28th 15:30 – Maribor V Sheffield Steelers November 28th 19:00 – Bolzano V The Hague November 29th 15:30 – The Hague V Maribor November 29th 19:00 – Bolzano V Sheffield Steelers. Steelers head coach Dave Matsos told the Steelers website “We have been looking forward to this since the summer. Wining the championship last season gave us the honour of representing the league at the Continental Cup, we are proud to do that. The competition has got a bit lost with the start to the season we have had, but now it’s here we are all determined to go to Bolzano and do well there, show that we are a very good team and come back with something that we can build on for the rest of the year”.
