PHILADELPHIA, Pa – If the New York Rangers make it to the post season this year the club will look to a recent match in the city of Brotherly Love as a key moment in the 2010-11 season. Despite a season of injuries the Blueshirts have managed to stay competitive and hold a playoff position with only two games left in the regular season.
On Sunday, the Flyers hosted the Rangers and once again the game had significance for both teams. Philadelphia is pushing for the number one seed in the conference and the Rangers continue to play for a spot in the tournament.
For this match, the rangers broke a two-game losing streak with a 3-2 shootout victory over Philadelphia.
