MANCHESTER, UK – MANCHESTER Phoenix have signed two young British players ahead of the 2013/14 season.
Joe Graham and Jacob Corson-Heron join the EPL Playoff winners from Peterborough Phantoms and Basingstoke Bison respectively.
They’ll link up with Tony Hand’s roster which is now eight strong even though the season is more than three months away.
Defenceman Joe, 23, returns to the Phoenix after three years.
He signed in 2009 before moving to Guildford Flames and ‘playing up’ for Nottingham Panthers.
And over the last two seasons at the Phantoms he’s clocked 54 points.
Jacob Corson-Heron has moved north after two years with the Bison.
He started his hockey career with Milton Keynes juniors and earned an EPL championship medal with Lightning in 2009/10 after icing in 31 games.
He then moved to Basingstoke in 2011 but had last season cut short by a knee injury.
