PHN’s Fight Card: Featuring Daniel Amesbury vs. Jason Kostadine 12/28/12

TULSA, Okla. – During a hard fought game in which the Tulsa Oilers gained their first victory after nine straight losses, tempers flared late in the middle frame, erupting in a battle between two heavyweights. Tulsa’s Daniel Amesbury and Quad City’s Jason’s Kostadine dropped the gloves at the 17:16 mark of the second frame. The two remained on their feet while trading blows and the fight was eventually stopped by linesmen Chip Excell and Kevin Cassidy. Kostadine received the worst of it, with what appeared to be cuts to his forehead and the bridge of his nose. Both received five minutes for fighting and Amesbury received an additional two minutes for elbowing, the infraction that started the incident.
