PHN’s Best Shots of the Game: Flyers and Penguins renew intra-state rivalry

PHILADELPHIA – The National Hockey League returned to the ice this afternoon with 26 of 30 teams hitting the ice following the acrimony of the collective bargaining negotiations between the players and the league’s owners.   At least for one day all was forgiven and in Philadelphia the Flyers returned to fanfare of opening day.

Lewis Bleiman was in the arena again for Pro Hockey News and provided these images of the game with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Penguins won the game, 3-1.
