PHN photo essay: Rush side step Americans, 5-2

ALLEN, Texas – The Rapid City Rush paid a visit to the Allen Americans recently.   The Americans were riding a three-game win streak and looking to gain some momentum heading to the post season.
 
The Rush were looking to put some distance between themselves and Quad City in the fight for playoff positioning.
 
In the end, Rapid City notched their first victory of the year over Allen with a 5-2 final score.  
The Rush scored four unanswered goals erasing a 2-1 Allen second period lead. Rush The second period was the difference maker as the Rush potted four unanswered goals and turned a 2-1 deficit into the final margin of victory.  
Offense for Rapid City came from Konrad Reeder who had two goals and one from Scott Wray.
