Ouellet, Bouvet-Norrissette and Zlobin win weekly QMJHL honors

QUEBEC CITY, P.Q. — Xavier Ouellet, Andre Bouvet-Morrissette and Anton Zlobin earned the distinction of being named the Telus three stars of the week for period spanning between the March 5th to 11th.
 
Ending his week registering 4 points scoring 2 goals in 3 games the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada defenseman earns the first stars of the week. In a 4-3 shootout wins against the Victoriaville Tigres last Wednesday, the 6’00’’ 187 pound defenseman had been named the second stars of the game scoring late in second periods.
 
Winner by shutout 5-0 on Friday against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, the Terbonne Quebec native adds 2 assists in that game. Winning their third games in four nights the defenseman registered a goal in 4-2 wins versus the Rimouski Oceanic on Saturday.
 
With 6 points in 3 games, the Drummondville Voltigeurs right winger Andre Bouvet-Morrissette earned the QMJHL second stars of the week. Beginning last Wednesday the Voltigeurs right winger scored two of his team three goals in a 7-3 losing effort against the Quebec Remparts.
 
Playing the same Quebec Remparts on last Friday Bouvet-Morrissette scored his team 3rd goal in a 3-1 win. On Saturday in a 6-1 win against the Baie-Comeau Drakkar the Becancour Quebec native ended his game scoring 1 goal adding 2 assists being named first star of the game.
 
Anton Zlobin of the Shawinigan Cataractes earned the third stars registering 6 points in 2 games. Beginning his week with a 4-2 win against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies on Thursday the Russian native scored 1 goal.
 
Facing the Shawinigan Cataractes on last Sunday the 19 years old left winger led his team to 6-2 win scoring 2 goals and 3 assists earning the first stars of the game.
