PAPILLION, NEBRASKA – Green Bay’s Steve Summerhays tied a USHL record for consecutive wins by a goalie on Saturday night. Summerhays tied former Des Moines netminder Matt Carney (1998-99) with 18 straight wins after making 23 saves to defeat Sioux Falls. The 19 year old Anchorage, Alaska native is 24-2-1 this season.

Lincoln, Nebraska – Dominik Shine recorded a hat trick for the Stars who also received a three point night from Ryan Dzingel. Jared Coreau would make 36 saves in the winning effort to stop the Stampede.

Des Moines, Iowa – The Lancers pounded the Bucs for eight points to begin the breakout of their recent slump. Omaha’s Matt White had four points and goalie Jeff Teglia made 24 saves in the winning effort.

Indiana 5, Des Moines 1
Indianapolis, Indiana – The Buccaneers would score first midway through the second period to open the flurry of goal scoring. Indiana would strike back almost immediately scoring five unanswered goals. Max Cook would lead the Ice with two goals and Cab Morris would make 17 saves in the wining effort.
Sioux Falls 3, Youngstown 1
Sioux Falls, South Dakota – Matt Lindblad would score twice for the Stampede and Lino Chimienti would make 23 saves to give the Stampede their 23rd win this season.
Cedar Rapids 9, Fargo 6
Fargo, North Dakota – Jeff Costello scored three times and added two assists for the RoughRiders who would win the shoot out on the Force’ home ice. Zach Lehrke would have three points for Cedar Rapids.
Tri-City 5, Lincoln 2
Kearney, Nebraska – 200 minutes on 39 infractions – while this game may have appeared as a UFC match in person, make no mistake this is one of the most heated rivalries in the USHL. These two teams HATE each other as this game showed. In all there would be 24 fighting majors awarded in the contest. The Storm also managed to outscore Lincoln and take the win. Led by Jaden Schwartz’ four points, Tri-City would pick up their 21st win of the season.
Green Bay 3, Sioux City 2
Sioux City, Iowa – Reed Seckel would score twice for the Gamblers in the winning effort. Ryan McKay would make 18 saves on 20 shots in a rare start for Green Bay to win his ninth game this season.

Chicago 5, Omaha 2
Omaha, Nebraska – Ian Young recorded three assists for Chicago as they defeated the Lancers. Brendan Woods would also add two assists for the Steel as they would send the Lancers to their fifth loss in their last ten games.
Tri-City 3, Sioux City 2
Sioux City, Iowa – Tyler Amburgey would score twice for the Storm with his final goal coming in the overtime period to sink the Musketeers on their home ice. The Storm has now won four straight.
Youngstown 2, Lincoln 1
Lincoln, Nebraska – Adam Berkle would score the lone goal for the Phantoms and Ryan Dzingel would equal him a period later tying the game for the Stars. Yet it would be the shootout and a 4-1 victory by the Youngstown Phantoms that would seal the win.
Indiana 4, Des Moines 3
Indianapolis, Indiana – Cab Morris would make 19 of 22 saves for the Ice as they would defeat the Buccaneers for the second straight night.
Cedar Rapids 5, Fargo 3
Fargo, North Dakota – Eric Robinson had three points for the RoughRiders. David Boehm and Peter Sakaris would score two points apiece for the Cedar Rapids as they would defeat the Force.
Green bay 5, Sioux Falls 3
Sioux Falls, South Dakota – Reed Seckel and David Makowski each recorded two points for the Gamblers as they defeated the Stampede. Steve Summerhays made 23 saves in the winning effort.
