READING, Pa – The Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs and the Michigan Wolverines have punched their respective tickets to the 2011 Frozen Four to be held in the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota on April 7th and 9th. Two slots remain to be determined with North Dakota will take on Denver while New Hampshire battles it out with Notre Dame. The Bulldogs reached the finals after defeating Union 2-0 and top seeded Yale 5-3. The Wolverines reached the finals by defeating Nebraska-Omaha in controversial fashion 3-2 in overtime on a goal that was reviewed by instant replay despite not having indisputable evidence but was ruled and goal and a trip to the Frozen Four for Michigan.
