K-Wings open defense of Northern crown

KALAMAZOO, Mich – The Kalamazoo Wings went all the way to the ECHL finals in the 2010-11 season.   The K-Wings represented the Northern division of the ECHL as they faced off against the Alaska Aces.   For the Wings, the finals were a disappointment as the Aces defeated them 4-1 for the ECHL championship.
 
But this week the K-Wings opened their defense of the northern crown against the Cincinnati Cyclones.
