GLASGOW, UK – Braehead Clan are today pleased to announce that they have signed a new addition to their 2011/2012 roster. The signing of right winger, Mike Wirll, has been confirmed this morning and Mike will touch down on UK soil early this week. The 30 year old Canadian, who is a former team mate of Clan’s #13 Jade Galbraith, has played in the ECHL, SM, Liiga, Germany and CHL so he joins the Clan with a wealth of experience aswell as bringing both speed and skill to the ice. Confirming the signing Clan Coach/Player Drew Bannister commented; “Mike is a good guy with a great attitude on the ice. I have no doubt that he will work hard for us, and will gel with the other guys on the team. He has a lot of skill and can really move the puck. I know he will be looking to notch up as many points as he can from now until the end of the season so it’s great to have him join the team.” Mike will ice for the Clan this week.
