PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz – The Arizona Sundogs are starting new after Scott Muscutt took over as head coach late last season and led the team to the playoffs before they were swept by the Wichita Thunder. Arizona returns just five players from last year’s squad as new coach Kevin Colley looks to inject some new blood into the franchise. Colley takes the reigns after spending the last five years as head coach of the ECHL’s Utah Grizzlies where he compiled a record of 157-152-51.

Returning goaltender David Brown will likely get the nod between the pipes, after posting a 15-15-1 record last season. Colley has added a mixture of toughness and scoring, with players coming to Arizona from leagues all around the world. Darcy Verot adds a wealth of experience and toughness, having posted 1,698 penalty minutes during eight seasons in the AHL. Forward Jason Morgan is the only top three scorer from 2012-13 that will return this season.
