Chelmsford has successful weekend over MK and Streatham Win 14-2 and 6-2

CHELMSFORD, UK – This was a good weekend for the Chieftains, starting on Saturday night with a 14 -2 win over the Milton Keynes Thunders.

This match saw one goal for Julian Smith, two goals for Grant Bartlett, two for Darren Brown, two for Gary Clarke and three for both Ross Brears and Daniel Volrab, with an under sixteen Bailey Chittock getting his first goal in Chieftains Colours.

Ryan Coffey scored the Milton Keynes goals, who then went on to be their Man of the Match, with Bailey Chittock for the Chieftains.

Sunday night’s match was a harder fought affair against the Streatham Redskins, with the Chieftains coming away with their second win 6 – 2.

It was the Redskins who got on the score board first with a goal from Steven Fisher after 4:15.

It took the Chieftains only two minutes to answer with a goal by Daniel Volrab.

The Chieftains then went on to score three more, by Cameron Bartlett, James Ayling and Daniel Volrab again before the Redskin could get on the board again, with a goal by Dominic Hopkins.

The Chieftains managed to score more in the second period by James Ayling and Alex Staples getting his 4th goal in Chieftains Colours.

The third period remained goalless.

Steven Fisher was the Man of the Match for the Redskin, and Alex Staples for the Chieftains.
