Ceman returns to UK with Dundee Stars

DUNDEE, UK – Dan Ceman has left SonderjyskE after a treble winning season to take the reigns of Elite League newcomers Dundee Stars as player-coach.
Ceman has worn the Captain’s C for the past three seasons, lifting the Danish Elite League as well as last years treble, and the 36 year old centreman brings a useful scoring touch with him, scoring 27 points in 33 Danish Elite League games (5+22), in a team that also featured former Coventry Blaze defenceman Samy Nasreddine.
No stranger to the Elite League, Ceman has had spells with Bracknell Bees, Nottingham Panthers and Sheffield Steelers in five seasons in UK hockey, including a best Superleague return of 47 points in 45 games with the Bees.
Earning the nickname “Spunky” for his hard working style, the centreman is an outstanding face-off man, and will be a good playing acquisition for the stars as well as coaching the club.
The Stars have already confirmed that local hero John Dolan has signed for next season, but Ceman of Windsor, Ontario will need to get to work on recruiting the rest of his roster.
